The easiest, cheapest and most-convenient way to get around Bali for these kinds of short trips is by motorbike taxi (Gojek and Grab can be downloaded on your phone.
A Gojek driver will get you to your destination as efficiently as possible and motorbikes are much better-suited to Bali roads. Don’t be surprised if you’re Gojek driver takes you up pavements and down short cuts (jalan tikus) to find the best route.
You can pay cash on arrival and your Gojek driver will give you a helmet. When you’re ready to go back, just order a driver on the app and do the same again.
